x-ray

At our new location, we provide our clients with high-tech diagnostic imaging studies.

We also have state-of-the-art digital X-Ray equipment for all of your general purpose X-Ray needs. X-Ray services are available in our Westlake Village office located on Thousand Oaks Blvd. Please call 805-371-9116 for additional information. An X-Ray is a type of non-invasive procedure which creates a image that your doctor uses to make a quick and accurate diagnosis. A minimal amount of radiation is used to make this image. How is the procedure performed? You may be asked to lie down on a table, sit in a chair or stand. Our technologist will help you by positioning you properly. The X-Ray is painless and will take only a fraction of a second. Radiation is used to make an X-Ray image for diagnostic purposes.

We use the minimal amount of radiation needed to make a high quality image for reading. We believe that in almost all cases, the medical benefits of an X-Ray far outweigh the very small radiation risk. We monitor all requests for X-Ray to be sure all our patients get the most accurate diagnosis with the least possible radiation exposure. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You may be asked to change into a patient gown or scrubs. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your exam time to verify registration information and prepare for the procedure. Allow 15 minutes for the exam, even though an X-Ray exposure typically takes less than one second! There are no known immediate after effects of having a medical X-Ray.

When will my doctor get the results? One of our radiologists will study the images and send a written report to your physician within one to two business days. Caution: Please let us know if you could be pregnant before X-Ray is performed. Pregnancy may prevent you from having an X-Ray.
