KATIE BAKER

Dr. Katie Baker was born and raised in the Conejo Valley and attended Newbury Park High school where she lettered in water polo. She was also a member of the swim team and qualified for CIF championships. She went on to study Kinesiology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo earning her Bachelors of Science degree. She continued to play water polo at Cal Poly where she became a three-time National Champion. After graduating, she began interning at physical therapy clinics in Thousand Oaks. It was as an intern at Body Logic where she met Dr. Scott Blatt and Dr. Megan Hardin who were her mentors and fostered her passion for Chiropractic care. After graduating from Southern California University of Health Sciences with her Doctorate degree in Chiropractic, she returned to Body Logic.

 

Dr. Baker is committed to her patients’ overall health and well-being. By integrating manual therapy, strength and conditioning and movement assessment, she is better able to rehabilitate and prevent injury in her patients. Dr. Baker is certified in Webster Technique and constantly seeking to incorporate new disciplines into her practice. From youth athletes to professional, general public, pre- and post-natal, Dr. Baker offers compassionate clinical care. Utilizing her sports background and extensive knowledge of human biomechanics, she supports and guides patients through their return to sport, work or activity.
