SCOTT BLATT

Scott Blatt, DC, ATC, founded Body Logic Sports Therapy in 1993. Twenty-one years later, he has realized his vision to create a multi-disciplinary sports medicine team, including opening Westlake Sports Physical Therapy, Inc., in 2003. Scott obtained his B.S. in Health Sciences from California State University at Northridge in 1989, and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1992 from Southern California University of Health Science.  He became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 1994 and attained his Athletic Trainer Certified license in 1996, when he also interned for the Oakland Raiders Football Club.  Scott has combined his desire to travel with his professional calling and has been a staff team doctor for the Association of Surfing Professionals, Association of Volleyball Professionals and USA Beach Volleyball, providing health care and managing sports medicine teams for Olympic and U.S. athletes all around the world.

Scott’s passion for learning constantly expands his expertise through a continuing series of specialized post-graduate studies and ensures that he provides the latest innovations in treatment and care for all of his patients.  Incorporating services at Body Logic including chiropractic, physical therapy, x-ray, massage therapy, acupuncture, athletic training,  sports performance and conditioning, his team interfaces daily, including with referring orthopedists, to create the best seamless and individualized treatment and recovery plan for every patient, all overseen by Scott.

In addition, Scott has been the Head Athletic Trainer for Westlake High School since 1995 providing assessment and management of nearly 1,000 student athletes participating in 12 different sports annually, including sideline evaluations for all contact sports.  He recently became a part of an international team of multi-discipline professionals providing acute evaluation, care and team management at events such as the BMX World Championship, BMX U.S. Championship and Dew Championship tours.  Whether in the office or out in the field, Scott provides straightforward, compassionate and efficient treatment, appropriate medical referrals and unsurpassed follow-up care leaving you feeling that you are his only patient.
